Wwoofing

Rainbow Valley Farm welcomes volunteers and Wwoofers (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) from Aotearoa/ NZ and overseas who are looking to gain experience in farming, gardening, organic food production and preservation. What the whanau are looking for are people with a positive attitude, willing to learn with the whanau and who are prepared to step outside their comfort zone.

Being a Maori whanau, there is lots of singing at the farm, so musical instruments and a song are welcomed, we are also gay friendly and don’t consider age or children as a barrier.

Comfortable accommodation is provided in the farm barn house. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided with the whanau from Monday to Saturday lunchtime. Sundays is free time so Wwoofers are expected to provide their own food on that day.
