A new website, new owners, whanau and aroha…
Rainbow Valley Farm in Matakana North of Auckland was developed over 23 years by Joe Palaischer and Trish Allen whose passion for sustainability, permaculture created this piece of paradise. Joe and Trish and the land they developed became famous around the world as a model of sustainability, a place where people could learn and be inspired. Joe sadly died in 2008 and while Trish continues to share this passion, the land has found new caretakers in Wiki and Cedric and their whanau.
Wiki and Cedric bring a new passion and energy to this special land as they develop their whanau ethos is that beyond being owners of the property, they have a responsibility is as kaitiaki (care takers, guardians) and kaingaki (cultivators) of the land.
Ma te whenua ka ora te tangata
Through the land the people will be nourished
Ma te tangata ka ora te whenua
Through people the land will be nourished
This new website reflects the new Whanau focus of Rainbow Valley Farm, while also paying respect to Joe and Trish for all the work and love they poured in to develop Rainbow Valley Farm. Read more on the history of Rainbow Valley Farm
