Trish and Joe spent over 20 years transforming what was once run down farmland, eroded, weed and pest infested with choked waterways into what is now a functioning organic farm. As a result, Joe became a renowned permaculture educator both in Aotearoa/New Zealand and overseas. His passion for sustainability, self sufficiency, appropriate technology and bio regional community development is reflected in the spirit, design and networks of the farm.
Trish continues to live in Matakana as well as teach and promote permaculture. Trish also provides support to Cedric, Wiki and the whanau in their efforts to continue the work that Trish and Joe started
